Mickey articled with Chown, Cairns starting in 2003, and continued on with the firm as an associate in 2004.
As a member of the Chown, Cairns Litigation group, Mickey enjoys practicing in a courtroom setting, and has been involved in a broad range of litigation including criminal, civil, and family matters.
During law school at Queen's University, Mickey developed his taste for the courtroom by being involved in many practice-based courses. In addition to completing a placement through the Family Law Program at Queen's he did a double-term legal advisor placement at the Kingston Penitentiary as part of the Correctional Law Program.
In addition to his court appearances, Mickey has represented clients at administrative hearings, including hearings of the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, and municipal bodies.
Mickey achieves successful results, and will provide efficient and effective legal representation. He is prepared to fight for a fair and equitable outcome.
